House Quilt and pin cushions.

Using scraps of fabric from my stash and my quilt circle I made another house quilt for our charity group.

I used donated fabric for all of the trees and the backgrounds.

I used a pale pink with white dots and a neutral floral for the backgrounds. I had about a half yard of each. So I figure the houses are in different subdivisions.  This quilt went together so fast and it's a great use of scraps.

Here are 2 of the 5 pin cushions I made from the magazine American Patchwork and Quilting. These are another great scrap user.

  1. The house quilt is great and a fun way to use up scraps. I'll have to keep that design in mind for my next scrap quilt. What a cute pincushion. I love the fabrics you used.
