I found a place for the Liberty Bell. My friend suggested putting it on the flag. I like it.
I feel like I landed on the moon when I stuck this flag in the watermelon. Ha.
The bottom half of the piece is all together.
Welcome to the neighborhood! The 3 house blocks- I shaved a little off the chimney piece at the top and added a sky strip across all of them. I did 2 star blocks and 2 filler blocks to make the row fit across.
Admiring, admiring. Pondering a border around flying geese side and bottom just so I can stabilize all those little seams. I'll stay stitch the other sides for sure.
This is a good place for both the flag and the bell. I don't like making those stars. I might make one just to do it, and the rest might be friendship stars or log cabins. Not sure yet.
