Random scraps for Prairie quilt.
Pattern is from the book by Kathleen Tracy called "American Doll Quilts".
Hand quilted this while I started watching new to me on Netflix- "The Paradise".
If you like "Downton Abbey" you will like this show about a department store.
A little close up of the simple hand quilting.
The finished size is 14 3/4 by 16 1/4.
Backing is fabric I'm trying to get out of my stash.
Back of quilt.
This one is my own design trying to use up scraps. I think I used 2 1/2 inch squares and made them into hourglass blocks- also called broken dishes when lots of them are next to each other. Teeny tiny I put the bobbin on the quilt to show scale.
The back of the quilt. I stitched in the ditch but hand sewed the binding down.
The finished size is 9 1/2 by 12 1/2.
