Flying Geese. Check
Economy blocks. Check
4 girls and Log Cabin. Check
Donut stars above log cabin. Not! I had this one piece of Debbie Mum fabric from the 90's that I wanted to use in this quilt somewhere and it happened to fit right here after adding blue star borders.
Check-Ha!
This heart cornerstone was fussy cut from an old plaid fabric that I have. Loving this project however my blocks either turned out too big or the top part of my quilt is too small. There will be some fudge factor happening before this row is added to the top part. I love an opportunity to make mine unique.
I love it!! I hooked your blog up to the linky!
ReplyDeleteI love the fabrics and the uniqueness of your version. Nice going!
ReplyDeleteIt is looking pretty sharp! I am loving your greens.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I love your Uncle Sam block. I think lots of us will be fudging to make this quilt come together. Cheri seems to have been a very improvisational quilter -- make the block, make it fit by adding or cutting. I love this style.
