FNSI for September

This is what I did today from start to finish. I used the leftover squares from 2 Halloween Twister quilts plus a few more fussy cut squares to make this I Spy mini quilt. I fussy cut the Trick or Treat borders. The fabric was not printed exactly straight but it turned out great. Completely quilted too. Yeah! I really love how this turned out.

This is the back of the I Spy quilt. Machined the binding don't look too closely. haha

Close up of this super cute fabric. Love it!

I worked on this Halloween Twister quilt for my square coffee table. I have to layer it and quilt it still. I've been a sewing fool this week.

This is the back of the placemat thing I made for my sister with the Hometown fabrics. I used leftover aqua solid from the previous baby quilt. I love how the back turned out.

This is my first Twister quilt made with Hometown charmpack. The leftovers after you cut the pinwheels give you 2 and a half inch squares that I put into the quilt below for my sister. It's a little larger than a placemat.

September FNSI

Halloween Twister quilt I made for my brother for his October birthday. He has a mini weiner. lol Dog that is. I thought he would appreciate the weiner dog witch fabric. I'm addicted to this pattern. So fun to make.

This is another mini quilt I made for my Mom, it is basically half-square triangles set on point with a flower appliqued on it. My sister has this hanging over a table in her entry way. She steals everything.lol

Tea cups mini

I made this for my Mom years ago. My sister has it hanging in her kitchen now.

Halloween mini quilt

I just joined a mini quilt group and this is the project for September 2012. I used Halloween fabric and fussy cut the squares, it is very bright. Now just need to quilt it by hand.

A baby quilt finished

Here it is all quilted and binded in the morning light showing all the detail. Love it. Now need to label it and wash it.
